Does anyone think there is any chance that we can get the devs to put the name and class of a resource on the icon.. so instead of "steel" it would say like "steel - durrally - bieaga".
Just gets to be a serious pain when you are dealing with millions of diffrent resources finding the one you need.

Good idea, it has been brought up before, but nice to see someone picking it up again. I would rather have just the class and name, or just name though. The icon itself on the resourcebox tells you if it is steel, iron or whatever allready.
Would finding the correct resource in a 40-50resource inventory alot quicker when you don't even have to click the resource to find out what it is.

are you talking about the item type for when you're sorting items in detail view? that would be awesome if they had it like "Aluminum Phrik" and "Intrusive Ore Ionite" so that way all the aluminums were still together, but so were all of the different types. good suggestion, i've been wanting that for a while.

in a container, there is a little 2-way arrow in the top left of the window
if that is toggled, you get a permanent examine window on the left of the container.....so all you have to do is click on the resource to see that info...its better than /ex every one of them
