I just made some schematics for a run of composite armor, yet i'm confused as to why i cannot get the same results on my chestplate as i do on all other pieces.

All other pieces are coming out as 80%kinetic, 80% electric, 71% base, but my chestplate only gets as high as 70% base (even with 2 amazings on base).

All pieces are easily experimented to 90% during crafting with my resources, but the chestplate only gets to 89% even with 2 amazings.

I can't understand it. help!

I ran into this a few times. I think its the amount of resources needed per item that changes the results. I would imagine something to do the the higher amounts needed for that peice. I typically did the chest plate first and then brought the base up on the rest of the peices to match. The left over points (if any) for the other peices went into encumbrance.

Exactly right Burton! But it seems the resource (usually hide) has to be right on the bubble of OQ/SR meaning only a few points on the resource can cost you that coveted 1%. I think its only happened to me twice.
