I'm a master scout and was wondering what stats for hide's where the most important to armor smiths, so I can harvest quality hides, thanks.

...and I try to stay away from hides that have under 1700 OQ/SR combined. Lol can be tough sometimes though!

Yes, the hides under 1700 OQ+SR are crap. If I do use them, its for ubese.

Actually, even with OQ+SR below 1700 pretty decent composite is possible, since wooly hide counts only for 10% in the final combine. I bet I can make 80% kinetic/68% base resist composite with OQ+SR=1500 hides, as long as the other resources are high quality. Since many armorsmith don't do the math but just repeat what they hear, you may have a hard time selling such hides though ![]()

When you have a choice between bellow 1700 and above 1700 for, lets say, 10 cpu more; what would you choose?

Personally, I would not pay more than 30 cpu for any hide (thats what I base my armor prices on). And of course I would go for the best hide possible.
