Hi. First off have a laugh:smileyvery-happy as this is probably a real dumb question. But I am a noob armorsmith trying to get to master.

I am playing around making things and experimenting to get used to what happens when i do a certain thing. I thought I would have a look at layersand play with them a bit. I am currently 2104 in the tree.

I made a few different of kinetic and energy layers and thought i combine them in some test armor to see what happens.

Doh! but low and behold where do the layers go?

Dumb question maybe but where do the layers go. I thought that they would be put in when you make the piece of armour but this does not seem to be correct. Or do they combine with something else i.e. segments? Or is it that as I am only on armor 2 can layers only be used in Ubese and composite?
