I thought Black Mountain was supposed to be between hunting and ceremonial as far as protection? I just bought a suit of Wookie Black Mountain armor that has special protection of 80% kinetic. The effectiveness was at 20% so it wasn't as good as Hunting armorbut for PvE this suit kicks a suit of Hunting armor.The HAM is lower on the BM armor and with 80% kin it's the same protection at Hunting. And it was much cheaper (I'm guessing less hard to find components?).

I am also curious if this is new for Black Mountain? When it was first introduced the protection I saw protection for it was around 50+%.

On TC the BM armor (atleast from one of the guys I buy from) acctually has MORE HAM than the Hunting armor. But I guess that is different for different servers.

It is like Padded. You can reach 80% kinetic on it easy, but with sacrificing base. Mine is 77%kinetic right now (crappy woods *sigh*)

I found out maxing the 2 kinetic layers forkinetic and neglecting base I can reach 80% kinetic and lower HAM than KHA. This is good for Wookiees out hunting. Little lower condition so they go thru it fast. but defiantly a market for it. Out slicing down rancors, don't need nothing but kinetic so it is a good idea.

Nothing beats pre nerf hunting thou. Wookiees are offering lotof creds for 200/112/82 chestplates that I have.
