Gentlemen, a few of us in the Ranger forums are trying to build a sticky listing what professions use what organic materials. Would someone mind listing what type of hides and bones you use with what stats that should be stressed to be found highest over what. Also, any planet specific hides or bones that have to be exact(ie. Tatooian Fiberplast, Lokian Wild Wheat)

Example general wooly hide

DR=Not important
MA=
OQ=Important
SR=Very Important
UT=

Of course we all know that the higher the number the better the quality but I select certain meats for certain clients like meat with high flavor and OQ for chefs and meat with low flavor but high PE and OQ would be better for a doc or BE.

I could better supply the general market if I had a better idea as to what the market needed. This future list/post I hope will make all of our jobs a lil easier.

I only really look at MA after I have the hides and am trying to sort out which to put into which armor I'm making. I will always by high OQ/SR hides - no matter what the other stats are. I suppose some of this could change with the revamp/rebalance/rewhatever but at the same time the hides with high OQ/SR are rare enough, waiting for high OQ/SR/MA/UT...well, JtL will be here first. )

Id say it goes something like this:

Mal-9%
OQ-50%
SR-40%
UT-1%

At least that's my personal opinion. If you found some Wooly that had 1mal/900oq/900sr/1ut and some that was 1000mal/700oq/700sr/1000ut...Id pay through the nose for the first, and maybe get the second if it was really really cheap.

Now, What specific resources are needed for things like the wookie armor? Is there anything else that requires specific resources?

MA= Semi - Important (Controls the HAM, note this could increase in importance)
OQ= Important as SR (Both for Resistance)
SR= Important as OQ (Both for Resistance)
UT= Semi - Important (I'd rate thisunder MA's importance, it controls condition)

It seems that OQ and SR are the main stats that most of us use, however MA and UT are a very nice addition don't ya doubt. I believe if you can get over 1600 between OQ and SR you should be set to see orders coming in.

Agree, but can it be confirmed that Decay Resistance has no impact on durability?

So, I need to correct it to Yavinian Wooly hide for padded armor?

Yup. To be clear though, Padded armour does use both Yavinian Wooly and generic Wooly. With the Yavinian Wooly going into the segment, and the generic woolygoing into the final combine.
