I am a new Master Armorsmith. While reading these boards, so that once I have the resources collected, to ba a better AS...a couple of questions have come to mind.

Question #1 Where can one find verifyable info on how to obtain the certification for RIS......a hermit was mentioned early on in my reading but I havent seen this verified....and haven't been able to find any info on a quest for this guy.

Question #2 Is there a specific place in ther game that AS skill tapes drop....I ask because with 5 accounts and having played the game well over a year.....I have gotten some 80 skill tapes and like number of armor attachments....neither of these catagories had one AS skill tape.

A couple of questions has just been increased to 3

Question #3 What setup of clothing or armor allows you 20 to 25 sockets for the inhalation of these skill tapes when they are accumulated???

I'm sure others will comment further about the specific questions but I wanted to let you know from my own experiance about RIS and being a 10 point smith.

Most players would not have RIS made by anything less then a 12 point smith. For most players its a one time event and they have spent alot of time working to get it., therefore they want it to be the best. I'm also a 10 point smith and have faced this many times and I don't blame them. Don't worry about RIS starting out would be my only advice. You'll be plenty busy cursing your first composite armor pieces

As far as the skill tapes for AS they sell for about 1 million per point on my server. I'm guessing its equally expensive on others.

Near the Abandoned Rebel Base POI on Dantooine there is a small hut to the north, the npc is inside that hut to start the quest with.
