Thread: Definitive answer on negative skill tapes requested

Yes, I did, do a search and found many similar questions and an equal number of contradictory answers.
I have a chance to buy a skill tape with + 10 Mele and - 18 Armor Experimentation attribute.
I've read that the negative number is a display bug, I've read that it will hurt my skills, I've read that since its the second skill on the tape it just won't work and I've read that since its the highest number it will.
At this point I don't know what to beleive. If anyone knows for sure please let me know if the tape gives any benefit to Armor Experimentation.
