Thread: RIS components...are they dropping?

In the last two weeks Ive kiiled 84 Reclusive gurk kings, 32 Giant Dune Kimogilas and 63 Woolamander Harrowers.
Im yet to recieve a single item. I know the loot drop is rare but this is crazy.
On occasion the corpse of the creature is non-harvestable and when I double click the corpse to loot, I recieve no loot message. This means I have to select loot from the targeting reticle.
Im curious as to whether anyone else has been able to succefully loot a component in the last two weeks or whether the latest loot changes have borked the component drop system.
If so, how the hell are we going to make RIS?

the 2 days the gdk was on a 10 minute timer i mustve killed it like 200 times and didnt get anything worth keeping

Ive had no luck with woolybone myself, prolly killed around 50.
GDK scale is allways hard to find, Ive heard higher that 200 until a drop. Lowest I heard was on the 20th kill by an online friend of mine.
Gurk King one is news to me. Prolly the easyest one to get out of the four. There is a vendor on my server that I was told by a guildie was selling them for 35k each. I myself have around 50 and could have had more if I wanted.
The albatross allways drops, its just finding them that can prove difficult. But ppl dont really use the feathers. Nightsister shards, GOOD Nightsister shards, that drop in sets are difficult to get too, especially the effectiveness ones, but not needed for RIS, just if you want a NICE suit.
Im not sure if the increased spawns effect the wooly temple, used to be every hour-ten if Im not mistaken. Havnt been to yavin since the patch.

I've noticed this myself. I have been trying to get the items with no luck and even when I am beaten to the mob, I ask if it dropped anything and the standard answer is "grrrr... nothing"

Glad its just not me :/
Camped those damn rainbow monkeys for hours and hours and got nothing. They spawn a LOT faster but drop nothing it seems. Also had some friends camping woolamanders fo mr at other times....nothing. Probably hundreds killed but no loot. I'm out of the RIS game til I hear of anyone looting some bone since the last patch.

I have spent the last 4 days at the Woolimander Palace and have killed over 100 Horrowes and no loot. We had a guild hunt last night for GDK and Gurk Kings. We killed over 30 of each and not 1 bit of loot. COME ON SOE...

I did a bunch of my Jedi grinding at the wooly palace and never once looted any bones, nor did any of the dozen or so people I talked to that also were camping the spot at various times. It has been assumed at this point on our server that Woolymander bones are no longer dropping.
I haven't heard anything about the gurk hides so I imagine they are still dropping and you've just been very unlucky.
GDK scales have always been a very rare drop and what you mentioned is by no means out of line with my experiences so far with GDK's. So far the only one that everyone consistantly agrees is not dropping is the woolymander bones.

I have tried woolybone, gurk kings and pekos over the last week and I have not gotten anything off of them.
