does 80% special protection on composite give you 80% with an increased ap, 80% as a standard just like normal protection or does it give you 90% with the special protection adding a stealth 10%?

ive never known the correct answer..please enlighten me

80% is 80%. Special protection is just the normal protection the armor provides and is capped at 80%. The reason to move things into special protection is to ensure a minimum of that certain type of protection, no matter what type of slice you may end up with.

which sucks... special protection SHOULD negate one level of AP IMHO
