I was looking to get some composite armor gloves and boots made. However, I am not looking for high base resists on this armor. I am looking for the highest condition possible, lowest HAM possible, and 4 sockets. I was wondering what kind of loot enhancements should I try to gather to help the armorsmith enhance these as best as possible. High condition and 4 sockets are of utmost priority with HAM being second. I would greatly sacrifice 10-20 HAM for a couple thousand extra added to the condition. Also, of these enhancements, what would be considered base values (I have no idea what I should be looking for when it comes to armor enhancements). Also, how many would it take for the layers/segments? Would these need to be identical?

best bet is krayt composite segments. they have high condition and no ham, but usually low resists. the base resists are 10%, whereas crafted segments are usually 30%+. would take 1 segment per set of gloves, and 2 segments per set of boots. there's a sticky at the top of the boards with more info on all the armor enhancements that you might wanna look at.

You can get some of those base krayt segments with real high integrity, which is what you are mainly looking for.

50k condition is possible with non-looted components. 80% kinetic, 40% base HAM is usually in the low 60's for composite gloves.

the way you describe what you want, it sounds like you want to make holders for AAs. Here's a few reason why I think you might want to change your plans:

1) Gloves and boots get hit ALOT.

2) The amount of damage that a piece of armor takes is proportional to the amount of damage that gets through (so 90% armor lasts twice as long as 80%)

So a 50% compositepiece at 88k condition will last HALF as long as your standard 35k condition 90% resist armorpiece.

If you want a good AA holder, get a bunch of high base composite bracers or biceps made, and sliced them until you get 90%, then use that (assuming 4 sockets also).
