Would using the anti-decay kit on a ls resist PSG keep it working forever? I doubt anyone has an answer to this (because who would want to experiement?), but perhaps our correspondent could find out.

Yes, I tested this on TC-Bria while it was still up. I equipped the PSG, while wearing no other armour, and went off to get shot by NPCs. I could see the PSG preventing damage in the combat log, but condition remained perfect. Swapped it out for another PSG just to check, and I could see the condition on that one going down with each hit.

Didn't test dying while uninsured, but there's no reason to expect that the PSG would behave any differently to other insurable items, so it should be exempt from that sort of decay too

Edit: Sorry, didn't spot that you specified an LS resist PSG. No idea on that one, but my gut instinct says "No". The anti-decay code is highly unlikely to be connected to the code that causes them to have LS resists then lose them, so I see no reason to expect a change in behaviour on that front.

Dang, that's what I thought. Thanks for the info though. Looks like I'll be saving my kit till they fix the LS resists.
