I made myself my first RIS suit, and the S.O.B. is heavy as all heck. I am a 10 point smith, and feel I have gathered some pretty decent materials over a span of time, and I used 3 stock NS layers in the segment, I used 5% Rancor Hides, and a 4% yellow geo cube (I only make interwoven).
Now, here is my issue:
I seem to only be able to hit 80% on the Rancor Hide enhanced stats - Cold and Heat.
The Kinetic is around 72% in special, and the base is 75%.
I want to be able to get the base to 80%, but with the materials I use, Filling up the base exp line leaves me with 75% in that case.
So I guess my question would be, what materials do you use when you have made an RIS suit that UNSLICED hit 80%?
Did you run into the same issues I did, but used better NS layers? Did you have awesome Geo Cubes or Janta hides?
I want to know EXACTLY how to pull off an 80% RIS suit; the material names you used and everything. Also, I will be forever endebtted to whoever can tell me exactly what I need to know in order to do this without a segment enhancer, because then I can add a NS Shard to lighten my suit.Ifthe reason my suit can't hit 80% all aroundis because my materials don't match up as well, I will use one of my vet rewards to get myself a stack of better material in a category.
I also have access to a guild AS 12pt suit, so I can use the extra 2 points the next time I make this suit. So can anyone help a fellow Radiant Smith out?

you'd be better off using 3 kinetic layers than 3 base ns layers. your kinetic layers should be 4% at least, whereas the base ns layers are only 3%.
the best option is probably to use 1 good nightsister layer (6%+), and 2 kinetic layers if you want to hit 80% kinetic. i also usually use 4 or 5% yellow cubes and then some ns shards to get the encumbrance down. fairly easy to hit 80% base that way.
