Thread: Holosmith question: Do the RIS quest?

Hello,
Just wondering. Do you get a badge? Is there any benefit to running this quest? My plan is to master and drop it immediatly after I pop my next cron. Is there any benefit to running this quest?

I'm a master AS and don't consider it worth my time to run. I've told all my friends, if they want the armor, get me the resources for the quest. I'll run it then.
I don't expect it will happen. Some of the items are incredibly hard to get. ie. Giant Dune Kimo scale.
There have been people trying for several months and still don't have the needed loot.

I definitly have NO intention of aquiring the resourcesand building the armor, I am just wondering about the quest to get the schematic.
As I understand it, there is a hermit on dant that sends you on missions and when you finish you get the schematics to build RIS armor. Is that all you get?

To do the missions, you need loot dropped from certain mobs.
The missions are so insanely hard, that few people do them. When I say hard, I mean the loot doesn't always drop and the creatures that need to be killed are very high level. To the point where no Armorsmith is going to be able to do it alone, or even have much of a chance of lasting long against them.

It'd be pointless for you to do the quest if you don't plan on ever making RIS. Just to finish the quest takes some exremely rare loot, and you just get the schematics, no badge.
