When you fail a repair role, your armor goes to 1/1 condition. Decay will never take it to 0 because its a percentage. I have 2 or three pieces of a suit right now in this condition.
Is 100% damage now passing through them?
Will they dissapear at some point?

damage will pass straight through your 1/1 condition armor. pretty easy to test it just go agro some creatures and look at your combat tab. it will never disapear from your inventory, it will remain there and is useless except to dress your vendor or put in your house for display.
