I'm guessing this question has been asked a bunch of times before, but since the search function on these boards is pooh I'm asking again (sorry).
Whydo armor repair tools suck so bad? (Especially in relation to weapon repair tools.)
Imean, I'm using a 99.802% tool and it totally ruins my armor in about 3 (max 4) repairs.
When I use a 99% Weapon Repair tool to fix a gun the repair goes off without a hitch most of the time (ie: "you repair your weapon with only minor faults, the condition has been slightly reduced") A gun that started out at 1000 condition ends up around at least 900+when I repair it from aprox half damage. If I repair an armor piece at around half damage I get the "you only marginally repaired your armor. it's max condition has been significantly reduced" message every single time!. I had a jacket that was down to 11k/17k (not even half used) and repaired it last night. The max condition dropped to 14k. The same happened to my helm, pants, and boots... all while using a 99.8% tool.
(Before anyone flames me, I am NOT blaming any Armorsmiths for this problem... I'm asking if you all have ever got any kind of answer from the devs as to why it's like that.)
Thanks!
