Hello
How much of a difference in HAM cost would 32% base, 13050 integrity Krayt Composite Armor Segments make in composite with a stun layer compared to Normal Advanced comp with a stun layer. Basically, if u made 2 chest pieces, and used the exact same resources, would there be that much of a difference?
Thanks

Unless I am mistaken, you cannot add a stun layer to Krayt Segments, so you are not able to compare the two. Also, FYI, you need four identical segments to make a Chest, but nice Krayt Segments you have there.

I actually have 9 of the same serial number with the above stats. With or withour stun layer, does it make a big difference in weight. Im a bothan and cant wear comp without buffs, unless i buy an uber sliced set. Basically was wondering if it would be worth finding a master ws and having a few pieces made with these, pieces i could wear without buffs preferably, or if it was just better to sell them or give them to the guild and get armor i can wear...

32% segment is worth having an armorsmith make composite out of... Agood unlayered composite segment will get to 20% base with around 8-10 ham... Look for around 66% base with your segment (depending of course on your smith)...

Krayt segment is lighter than normal by about 10 hams...Typical ham cost with krayt segment on a pair of gloves will be in the low 20's... As far asham costs on a full suit of krayt segment goes... 450 str/con, 450 qui/sta, 550 foc/willstats should be high enough to wear without slicing...

The condition on said armor will be MUCH higher than normal unlayed composite... It will depend on the integrity of your segments but you should see at least 40-45k condition...

All resists (except for stun) will be non-special resists... and a 35% slice on these pieces will hit about 89% (except for stun)

I would either use these 9 segments for a chest (4 seg.), helm (3 seg.) and boots/bracer/bicep (2 seg.) or if you are extremely concerned about stun damage you can make a fine set of biceps + bracer + gloves and get stun layered helm and chest (new geno blaster PvPhavok making this needed)...

In any case you are looking at saving about 10/10/10 ham on each piece you choose to have made from those segments... PLUS you will havesome fine pieces of armor to boot...

In short it will be lighter than stun layered comp, but you obviously will not have the stun protection. The difference is not exceptional, but it may be that all you need is a small difference.
