I apologize if there is listed somewhere in plain sight, but havent found it yet myself so just wanted to ask you guys a quick question. I was just wondering around what base resist% should my adv comp segments be if i want to make like 63%base with 77-80%special resist composite armor? I know finaly resources will affect it as well, but I am just wondering if my stuff is good enough to make some top armor... So just curious what I should be looking at whenI finish my segments.. thanks for help

I usually hit about 63% base and 80% special with 33% base adv. comp segments.

make the layers 4% on the base and 5% on the special Unless its Stun then put the rest of your points in there. Then make your Adv. Composite Segment 33% base 11% electric adn the rest into ur encumb (top bar). That gives me 80% Special (except stun) 80% Electric 80% and base 69%
hope taht helps

i have one more, probably very stupid question....

i made a few kinetic layers and then tried to make an adv comp segment experimenting first to get up to a 31%base 13%electric (realize i didnt need that probably and could have saved a point for encum)... but my encum on the segment came out 54/54/56 yeouch.

i was wondering for maybe not the best armorsmith, but a pretty good one, what is your normal encum on an adv comp segment? /sigh got a feeling this is gonna be ugly.

Using 4%/4% kinetic layers (encumberance 12/12/12), I make 33% base/13% kinetic segments (encumberance 47/46/49). These give me 80% kinetic/69% base armor pieces with a relatively high encumberance (70/66/72 for gloves).

If I start out with 3%/5% kinetic layers (encumberance 8/7), I can make 29% base/16% kinetic segments (encumberance 35/37). These give 80% kinetic/65% base armor with encumberance 63/56/61 for gloves.
