ok guys i know we have brought up this issue in the past but we have to be presistant or the devs (which need hearing aids) might not hear us .
i want Armor repair mods in the armorsmith tree for i am tired of repairing armor with a 99.X tool and ahve 3 pieces fail in a row .. i mean come on as a master armorsmith i sould know how to fix any type of armor i can make ... for balance how about requireing some of the materials that made it (not exact but the same kind not same PE/OQ etc) honestly i know the artisins make the tools but the master should have the knowlege to use the tool properly.... everyone that can pls sign or give suggestions i know i am not perfect in anyway but hey gotta bring up ideas sometime right?

i agree wholeheartedley...
to add to this, i have a "repair suit", i decked out with clothing, weapon and armor repair tapes. armor repair is only at +7, but i can't tell a difference when repairing... perhaps it needs to be at least +10?

I am a Master AS and repaired a chest piece yesterday. It said it was a marginal success and max condition had been lowered. Yeah, I'LL SAY!! Condition was -11765/35k (yes, that's negative 11k) and resistances were like -1.7%!! Nice.

I don't think it helps armor sales that it doesn't repair well. Personally, if I could figure out how to get more than one use out of my armor, I'd buy more. Right now, it's cheaper for me to have Doc buffs. Is there a trick to getting a successful repair? Is there a certain percentage that you should repair it at? Thanks.

Personly, I avoid doing repairs for the most part because of this.
But they need to put a valid repair mod into our skill tree, so that we actualy have a better chance to repair armor.. even the best repair lowers the condition, so the balance is already there.
Also, we need the tool to either ignore armor at 0 condition, or give an error message "this armor is beyond repair".. none of this negative number junk.
