I was just trying to crunch numbers a bit... I just want to make sure I have not forgotten anything.. I am looking for the total numer of raw resources needed.

For sake of argument if seeking to make a set of Quad Primus Layered Composite Armor I would need the following resources -

Final Composite appearance (all 9 pieces) would require (not counting cloth and reinforced fiber panel);

430 Resources

11 Assault cores (I'll use advanced cores)

Each Advanced Assault Core requires;

250 Resources

3 Assault Segments

Each Assault Segment requires; (33 total segments needed)

35 Resources

4 Primus Layers

Each Primus Layer requires; (132 total layers needed)

81 Resources

So to get the final total resources needed the equation would be;

Appearance - 430*1 = 430

Cores -250*11 = 2,750

Segments - 35*3*11 = 1,155

Primus Layers = 81*4*3*11 = 10,692 (layer resources*Layers needed*Segments per core*segments needed for final appearance)

Total Resources Needed = 15,027

This sound right?

Umm, he has 11 cores, so it's the full suit minus the gloves and boots.

I take that back.

The resources for the gloves and boots are in the calculation.

I believe your calculationsare correct, CGGuns.

Not sure on the finals, but pretty sure that the rest are correct.

And people wonder why layered armor is so expensive.. sigh..

Thanks.

A mathmatician I am not... Was trying to come up with a good way of understanding the costs associated with making a suit of armor and help with tryin to determine price..

What I learned was that Primus layers are expensive.
