I just finished grinding for nov AS and now that I have the nov schems I am totally in awe and completely lost. I have no idea what I need to do first to start the grind. Are there any specific resources I need to hoard? I have tons of hides and bones, but I had no idea I would need all this other stuff that I've never even heard of. FYI, this toon is my alt and I've never done anything other than combat class prof's. I've achieved master artisan and several merchant skills, but I'm finding the AS grind daunting to say the least. Any help you old timer AS's can provide me with would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to help a new guy!

It's a long and hard road.
Look in the stickies for specific resources you'll need and check the first few pages of this forum for talks about what to grind.

The grind is nasty. If you want to do it all by hand, it's segments and cores until you get 3000 AS. Then it's ubese shirts to master. If money and materials isn't an issue, you can also do factory runs of recon cores and then grind mabari chest plates.

I didn't think you got xp from factory runs!

You don't. You get the xp from making the mabari chest plates, but you have to have the factory cores to do it.
