Now I dont know if Im the only one but, Does anyone else think that the Costs for the Faction Plans cost just a bit TOO much?
While I understand that they may want too make getting the Various Plans a challenge, but when you put 1. a limit of 10 per plans then 2. Make the Costs for the Plans on average 3000 Faction or more per piece. Well that puts the Armor pretty much out of the game. I do not understand? Did the Devs mean too take OUT faction armor out of the game or did they maybe put the costs a bit too high and maybe need too lower them? Another solution would be too Add Fatction Armor Plans that dont cost as much Facton points, but the armor is not that super either. Currently as things are right now, Rebel and Stormtrooper armor is beyond rare and the costs too make them are prohibitive.
Faction Armor Costs need too be Tweaked down a bit.

Doesn't bother me. I'm sure faction armor is meant to be a credit sink. My last set of schems cost me about 66 cpu. People seem to be able to afford it.

if your imp you get ugly penalty for being anything else than Human.
Other than that, faction perks (including schems) are cheapest on the planet with best imp:reb GCW status. (for imps obviously, reverse it for rebs, reb:imp GCW status)
Ask the recruiter how you fare in the GCW. Do this on every planet and buy it on the one where the ratio is best. Example 10:1 is better than 300:290.
I think the cheapest i get a set for is around 13k fp, im reb. Thats just 1.3k fp for a suit at 100cpp thats 130000creds for one suit for the schems.

I don't think it's to expensive, it's not supposed to be your run of the mill armour.
The fact that it takes 1000-2000 a peiceto bio link it says alot.
If you want to look cool, it's going to cost credits & faction, the prices of the schematics should be getting carried over to the customer.

It's working as intended.
If a factioned player wants it, he'll have to earn his faction points (and/or money).

Hi. My faction armor sells very well. Very few complaints it is to high. I even help to offset offering to provide faction points to those who need it. Sorry for the inadequate sig. Not to up on this message board thing.

Despite being a Twi'lek I don't think the prices are too bad. There are also ways to reduce the costs, for example picking up 4000 Smuggler gives you a 10% discount and allows you to buy your own FP instead of paying the extra Smugglers charge to buy it for you. Also its remarkable how many people don't bother/don't know about going to a planet with a decent factional standing for your side, can often halve the cost.

Or you could take your Armorsmith toon Master a squadron.
Go fly overt for about an hour or two. Make 10-15K faction, sell off said loot from flying for 200-300K trade in your credit chip for say 100K.
The schematics cost me nothing but faction. This is how I make faction armor I fly for faction.

It's got to hurt if you're a non-human Imperial armorsmith on a server where all contested planets are firmly in Rebel hands.
It's nicer when you're a rebel armorsmith who can get the schematics for dirt-cheap on worlds where your faction is winning like 600:50, and you can garner a ton of faction after a few hours in space.

So its probably just my server then, On Tempest the Rebels own all the planets pretty bad. The best so far that ive found is on Tatoonie were we are around 50 to 250. On all the rest of the planets its alot worse. So I guess thats why the plans for various pieces cost 3k faction and 6k faction for the chest .... Guess I'll just have too suck it up for now untill players come too their senses, Being a Rebel is being a Weenie. (J/K, and I dont own Jump to Lightspeed yet)
