Thread: Mabari/Newb armor question

Was thinking of doing armorsmith2/0/0/4 and making Mabari for new players. Is getting Personal Armor II worth it for the Advanced Armorweave Segment, or just stick with making the regular Armorweave Segment? What kind of kinetic resist can I expect to see with and conversely without the Advanced Armorweave Segments, using decent resources? I'm thinking mainly of the kinetic resist, since new players are doing PvE most of the time, meaning fighting critters.

Thanks in advance.

Not really worth the upgrade to adv armorweave. You are better off making adv Chitin.

Nods. With advanced decent resources and master armorsmithing I got 60% heat or 30% kinetic (base). At 50k a suit,I still couldn't stay in stock (40 cpu). Just add the color to the name +the stats, and use 2 tones. Also, use the servers busiest bazaars (almost always coronet, theed, and bestine). However, when I was grinding up, we also sold on Rori, and sold my 25 item limit every 2 days! ( Of course, there were alot more newbies then).

Thanks for everyone's input, like I said I'm just wanting to pull off the best kinetic resists I can, so I'm guessing that for doing so, I really just need to get 0/0/0/4 for the experimentation. I assume that considering that, the best thing I can grind is the Armor Upgrade Kits.

Thanks again all.

Go for it. I sold Mabari the whole time before master and still sell some now. I just did a custom order for a crafting guild too.The guy was thrilled that I took 30 min and made a couple pieces in different colors. It's not a huge income generator, but it was fun doing it. (Having a piece of composite helps. The customer was able tochange the color on the compclose to the color he wanted. Verbally worked the rest from there.)

It's easy to make compared to the other stuff. 1 segment per piece.

If you're going to make Mabari, it's well worthwhile to make advanced segments.

I'm able to get 25% base resists. This is experimenting it to 97% on the effectiveness line. I sell them for 15k.
