Thread: Armoursmiths Getting the Shaft??
I dunno. I've been a Master AS for about 4 months now, and while we need to rely on tailors/scouts to get our resources, I don't know of a profession where its easier to make silly money. I know each server is different, and my server, Kettemoor, is one of the less inflated ones, but people will still sell their left one for a good set of armor these days. Especially with the defense stacking going bye bye, the demand has only increased, add to that the new wookiee stuff, Its tough to get any combat R & R time.
Because armor is so important, and people will pay for quality, I worry that one day the devs will put in more caps and make it tougher for AS's to make as good stuff as we can right now.... I think we have it good, and should keep a low profile or someone might notice....
My 2 cents....

The last few patches have added a lot of this type of thing. Are you forgetting the chef's reliance on BE additives (and yes although technically optional it is a de facto requirement, have you ever bought non-BE brandy?). They also need some tailor items for their containers. The devs even went as far as including DE components in vehicle paint kits of all things.
Not to mention all the shared components that have been in the game forever (even smugglers need carboysyrup for a spice or two).
While I find this case a little peculiar, its not something I'm surprised about.
