So I made my first padded segment today with items who's necessary qualities were 800 and up.
Here is the result of a 'Great Success', which I've come up with three in a row so far.
I got 10 exp points with 36% for duribility and 75% quality
This is what the pad came out with:
base effectiveness 3%
durability 36%
integrity 205
health 5
action 7
mind 5
I'm not sure if this is good, bad, or otherwise, but hopefully it's decent, considering this was a 'Great Success'.
Thanks for your input guys. ^_^

Oh, and before I go hog wild with this, I wanted to be sure that the Wookie Armor needs only one padded segment, or do you need idendicals per each suit? This will help in my pricing for the Naritus server and try to make the cost as fair and reasonable as possible.

Raise the base %. Most are getting 4%. The closer to 100% exper you get, the better the armor will be. There are decimal points we can't see in armorsmith.

Argh. I had one 4% so far. I'm using 14.95% crafting tool and 42% private craft station.
Using wooly hide in both slots with a UT of 629 and an OQ of 980
Fiberplast OQ of 887 and UT of 949
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Focus more on good stats with good OQ + SR, rather than UT. That is what will get the resists higher.

Armor tends to use OQ and SR for effectiveness. I don't know for sure that's your problem or not, but it's a possible place to look. How much are you selling Padded Segs for, BTW?

According to a post I read, they require identical segments (not sure if it was padded as well).
You best bet will be to make factory runs once you find a good combination.
Your best bet is to get with a smith in game and spend some time making the stuff. Most of the work will be on the AS end, but he should be able to help with desired results. Plan on spending an hour or so at it.

Ok, I just logged out after haveing the largest amount of requests I've ever seen. I even removed my title, still the tells came flooding in. However, if I remember correctly then the chest need 2 identical padding segments, the other pieces need 1 each.
For the Kashyyykian segments they follow the normal rules. 4 segments for a chest, 3 for legs, 2 for bracer.
