Thread: Renaming Armor after it's crafted

What do you think of the creator being able to rename crafted items?
Scenario -
I've crafted some 61%base composite that can be worn without buffs. I named it "61% Light Comp....". I visit a smuggler friend. Half of the armor isn't 61%base anymore.
We can already call it whatever we want during crafting. Why not have that option later too?
Any thoughts?
Before they got the Slicing notification on the item description, some armorsmiths named it that because if the stats deviated from the labeled stats, you could tell if it was sliced.
Also, some armorsmith put "by so-and-so" at the end so the purchaser knows who made the armor, since before the latest fix, the factories owner was labeled as the creator on the armor.
I'm against renaming items after they are created.
I wish they would implement this. I don't see a difference between renaming travel packs or other crafted items. It would help me tremendously making my vendors look more organized. And since the stat updating when experimenting is still bugged, putting stats in the name can sometimes lead to the wrong values.

I'm not saying you should be able to change any of the attributes, such as the items creators name. Just the name of the item, as it's done in the crafting phase.
Only the item creator would be able to do this. This would have to include factory run stuff as well.
