It's perfect. Resists can't go higher, and I feel it's better to leave acid and stun as vulns so they don't decay the armor that much faster.

Nice Work! Any chance you could share what you used to make it? I'm always interested to see what people had to use as components for RIS. Personally I like the HAM costs for such a piece. If I ever get around to having enough stuff for a set of RIS I think I will be shooting for a low HAM suit myself. Again good work!

Update here: Got it sliced for 41% encumberance, HAMs are now 19/13/97
Components:
4% Geo cube
9% NS layer
8% NS layer
-17/-11/-32 NS shard
Ask Tuanga for exact experimentation percentages on the Kinetic layer he used.
The segment was 42% base, 574 intergrity, 10/1/-8 encumberance, 35% kinetic.

Sweet! Those HAMs are awesome! And it give me hope that maybe I could have a piece like this since all I have are 7% nightsister shards right now(along with 4% cubes). Too bad my character is on Sunrunner...

dont supose you used the Interwoven RIS Segment schm from ackley?
or is it a requirement? iv gotten a few, and they have sold for 1-4 mill a pop, no auction...
Another thing, can anyone confirm that Kimos drop scales again?
If so, exact name? its the only part I lack to hand to my armorsmith buddy

Sweet helm. I've been saving my stuff for a personal set, so haven't made any yet.
I'll be asking ya soon about resource stats though. Been collecting resources for a few months and I think I have some nice stuff, but would like to compare. I'd hate to be able toovershoot 80% base andmiss being able to use a point or 2 in HAM or special.I doubt I'll be testing on a set of gloves.
A guildmate gave me some 11% NS layers last night. Any guess what they're going to be saved for?

Yeah I had a question about experimentation too. See i'm no crafter, and I was wondering how it works visually - for example, if the helmet before experimentation was 75% knetic/special and 75% base, will it show the potential outcome when you adjust the slider for another point, or do you have to guess?
Also, the components i'm bringing you soon for my next peices should all hit 80/80 easily, but i'm wondering if its worth using a knetic layer or finding another high % shard string (2 strings i have now are 13% and 10%) and just experimenting up the special to 80% without a layer, if even possible.
I do agree that the helmet keuller got is perfect, 80/80/stun+acid vuln is my goal for all my RIS peices.

Kayxfour,
On the boots I made a while ago, we got to 77% kinetic and 80% base without using kinetic layers. The layers I used in that were 14%, 14%, 3%. I also used a 5% yellow cube. Shards were used in special slot to reduce encumbrance. That should give you and idea though of how much you would need for the base %, to avoid using kinetic layers. My guess if you can get 40% worth of base, you wouldnt need a kinetic layer, thus making encumbrance very low.
