Constructive replies only please!
Ok, so you got all your various flavours of comp armor floating around, almost everything i see has either 0 stun resist (vuln.) or around 35% stun (yeah i know some 12pointers can go higher etc.) What I am wondering, is there any particular advantage of going max resist stun vs a mere 1-4% (and thus better HAM and base/kin)? Other than the obvious amount of condition loss and dmg reduction, what are the Armor Peircing vs AR/vuln modifiers? Is there any gun/weapon in game that would makeusing low resist worse than vuln? I'm not a uber-geek and math boggles me, I apologize in advance, but i've only read like 2 hours of various posts in several boards regarding AR's AP, resists, PvP, etc. it's all quite confusing after awhile. Any enlightenment from the AS community would be appreciated. ty!

There is no occation that vulnerability provides better protection than low res%.
Currently my major armor is Stun plug composite, triply stun layered with the layers experimented first for max base. This way I get high base composite, no vuln to stun and no base resistance becomes a special so no loss of eff slice usefulness. Granted I only get 19% stun resistance, but that added to the 25-50% damage reduction from having AR1 is significant.

Yes, vulnerability can provide better protection than a low resist, since AP is not applied vs. a vulnerability. With stun weapons, no there is no occasion where a low resist is worse than a vulnerability (unless a new AP2 stun weapon was added that I'm not aware of).
Ifa weaponhas AP0 or AP1, any resist is better than a vulnerability.
Ifa weaponhas AP2,armor needs to be at least 20% resist to be better than a vulnerability.
Ifa weaponhas AP3, armor needs to be at least 36% resist to be better than a vulnerability.
