Thread: I wish factories had schematic storage space.

My datapad is a mess. My 2 data storage droids are a mess. There's no organization whatsoever and it's starting to get on my nerves.
What I would really love to see is factories with 10 or 20 data storage space. That would make my datapad organizing a million times better. I'm doing a run of ubese right now and with just 10 storage in a factory I could put all my kinetic layer schematics and ubese segment schematics in one factory. And in the other put all my finished ubese schematics.
I dare to dream!

I finally broke down and took out my data mouse and deleted all my older schematics that I have either ran out of one resouce or another... solved a lot of my problems..
Sounds like it might be time for you to do the same...

but...but...but...
Well I suppose I could delete my last run of ubese schematics. And some tailoring schematics.
But really most of what I have I want to keep. I just wish there was some way to organize it

While we are on dream lists.....
I do short runs of alot of things. Wouldn't it be nice if you could queue up schematics in the factory? No down time whatsoever

Well, get a 3rd data droid! Each droid can have up to 125 schematics, and if you call a droid, open up the droid's datatpad, you can store the droid while keeping the pad open. So, for organizational purposes, you can have 3 droid datapads open at once to throw stuff around.
In all honesty, I dont keep schematics for long anymore. I do full runs of schematics and it just makes my job easier.

it isnt a storage problem if you are selling the stuff, plus the output hopper hols 100 items anyways, that is a lot of armor, if all in crates, 2500 peices of armor per factory, jsut use the layers/segs

ah but that creates an item storage problem then lol. I suppose I should break down and use my vendors for storage like everyone else

You know you can use vendors to hold schematics too right?
