I am so pissed, I misread the requirements and went for Dath Avian. Sooo many dead ancient reptilian fliers for nothing.

That is correct about voritor's always having avian. I think of them as the dinosaurs of Dantonnine (I think the current theory is that dinosaurs evolved into avians here on Terra).

If there is any taxonomy involved here then the difference between avian bone and animal bone would be that avian bone is hollow. I agree that it makes no sense for badass lizards to have hollow bones but that is one of the least senseless aspects of this crazy game.
