Thread: Wookie Armor Patch note confusion

In the patch notes it says the following :
"The intermediate set of armor is the set of Kashyyykian Hunting and there is the fabled Black Mountain Armor for the Wookiees who are taking the fight to the Empire."
Is it me or shouldnt it be the other way round? The hunting armor is triple layered making it akin to Composite armor, is harder to make, and offers a lot more protection according to the test center... Whilst the Black mountain armor is marginally easier to make, can only be layered twice, and offers less protection... and is similar to ubese, according to the resource requirements posted before.
Which type of new wookie armor is supposed to be the better? I was under the impression the hunting armor was meant to be, anyone care to shed light on this confusing statement?

Personally I hope the art work gets mixed up as I like the black mountains look a lot better for the Higher grade 3 layer armor...
But I suspect its just a goof on the part of the copy wrighter who puts togther the patch notes...

And why is the Black Mountain Armor "fabled"??? Isn't RIS armor fabled? I must have, in all my excitement, looked over the resources needed for both sets. I've seen the Hunting requirements. Is there something special we will need for the Mt. Armor? Thanks guys.

Dont Worry about the patch notes everything is correct in the Game... I just loged into my sunrunner character and took some screen shots...

Yeah I too was a little confused when I read the Patch notes. I was under the impression that the Black Mountain Armor was going to be the Wookiee composite before the new armors hit Test Center and was very bummed to find that the HuntingArmor turned out to be our composite. I was hoping they had changed this for some reason when they pushed it to live but I guess they have not. Oh well I hope they do change it in the future but for now i guess usWooks will have to live with using our stone-age beekeepers suits.
AmI in the minority whenI say that theHunting Armor looks pretty retarded and I want the Black Mountain Armor to be the Wook composite? I mean theHuntingArmor looks less advanced then theCeremonial Armor, and I have to imagine that those huge horns on the Hunting Armor would getin anyWooks way as he is creeping along hunting dangerous game. The Black Mountain Armor actually looks like the most effective and advanced armorus Wooks have why isn't it ourComposite Armor?

I prefer the look of the Hunting armor myself (cant get past the giant whip antennae on the Black Mountain), but the armor graphics shoulda been switched. The BM armor does look like it would be more akin to composite, while the Hunting armor looks like it would be great for hunting game or something.

A dozen or so Good comments about the Look and frighing apperiance of the wookiee Hunting armor and you forget all about the horns all together...
Just know now that we have this armor... people are going to have to learn to deal with a wookiee when they come at them in triple layered stun armor with 80Kinetic restances and 60 to 70 Base Resistances.. lol...

Hmm...Seems like this indicates a faction preference.
Or they are indicating that all you imperial wookiees need to be shot.
Either way...fine with me

Actually, any wookiee that is imperial needs some sense knocked into them. Wookiees are the single most hated race by the empire, and any wookiees in the empire would just be slaves, as that is all the empire saw them as being good for. An imperial wookiee is a slave wookiee, so the patch note text is fine
