need a clothing/armor crafting kit, if your cert it shold appear there, also you might have to stand near a crafting station.

ANyway youll prolly not need to make layers just yet.

Standing by a crafting station now with proper tool. No option. I know I should probably wait but I would like to mess around with it.

you have to be near a PRIVATE station either one in a house or a droid with a wearables station counts as well, fyi sometimes it's a litle buggy and you have to move around a bit to get your tol to recognize yoou as being near a station.

yep, most crafters have one in their houses, you can use those if you can acces the house. You dont need admin, as long as you can enter the house you can use the station, its a "passive" thing meaning you dont have to actively do anything you just have to be close to it.
