Hi. I don't know any armorsmiths, so I thought I'd ask it here.
I looted a piece of Advanced Assault Core (the number 8 appears over the icon.) I was wondering, is this an expensive part of armor? I was thinking I might be able to geta reduced price for Composite Armor if I give it to an AS to make, if it was a really key and expensive piece.
About how much do you think I would save (roughly... I know this isn't my galaxy forums) if I used the Core?

Cores; 3, 2 & 2 for a Chest leggings and helmet. This is the bulk of the factory work out of the way. AS won't pay much for loot cores because they make a single set, you can't factory schem on a loot core or any loot part for that matter. You are close enough to done, you would be wise to just get the rest of the resos and if you can another 7 or 8 stack of loot cores and have them make you a whole set of armor.
-This is all true unless you want faction, then the FP are still going to be a problem. It takes a fair amount of FP to get a full 9 piece schem set for that armor.

it depends on the stats on it, 8 would cover a lot of a suit, but not all of it (suits need 11 cores) unless you are looking for factional armour a very decent set could easily be found for under 400k (depending on server)

Well, I mean, let's say I was going to pay... 750k for a full suit of Composite. I have an 8 Advanced Assault Core... do you think I could save money on the suit by giving it to the Armorsmith to use?

The original question, yes it will reduce cost.
The stats in the cores, thos are your armor stats. All that needs to be done is assembly and some condition experimenting. AS can't improve it beond the stats in the cores. So I hope they are good.
