I'm just now trying out ArmorSmith, been wanting to do it for quite a while now, I only just got the chance to do it.

1) What item should I craft/practice to grind?

2) What boxes should I train in first?

3) I've been hearing alot about some component that goes into crafting Armor that is broken, which one is it?

These are just some of the questions I have, so, any help would be wonderful!

Also, if anyone has a character on Shadowfire and wouldn't mind helping me out...shoot me a /tell to Live.

If you're starting from Novice, I'd say Armor Upgrade Kits first, then Ubese Shirts after 3xxx.

A bit more time required, but very cheap resource costs.

Expect roughly 20-25 hours depending on how efficient you are at clicking..

If you really really want to make it go fast, get Master Architect and use your token.

If you're poor and can't afford the resources for Archi, you can always do ID or Merchant.

2) What boxes should I train in first?

If you want to start selling stuff before hitting Master, go up the Experimentation trees.

Currently, the system sucks and you don't really need all 10 points to be able to craft like everyone else.

3) I've been hearing alot about some component that goes into crafting Armor that is broken, which one is it?

Health Bonus stuff is definitely broken. These are the looted stuff with +?? to Health items like Krayt Scales and NS Fragments. Don't try using them now.

See the sticky up top with the list of armorenhancing loot items.

I think Layers are still broken and don't show actual stats during experimentation - until item is actually used in a segment or factory crafted (it could have been fixed recentlybut I haven't made layers in the past 2 weeks so I don't know)

The Feathered Appearance is the same and it won't show stats during experimentation.
