What is the best resits you can get on Tantle armor and what kind of vulnerbilities does it have? Thanks in advance

Not sure of the resists myself. But isnt there still a stat shift problem with this armor?

Ok, well thanks for the replys. Now all I gotta do is find a smith on my server. When I asked who made the best on my server, I got a "Are you serious?" response

No one uses Tantel armor because its unstable. I rember a time long ago when Tantel was the uber armor and only the rich could afford it. I may make a helmet tonight with a stun layer just to see what i can do with it. It might not be a bad protection against those pesky Ion rifle users in PvP. It still might have a use. Any thoughts on this one?

Tantel has no vulnerabilities... thats why it has changing vulnerabilities. Clear as mud???

I've made Tantel with resists around 20% or so... Nothing special for sure. I think I've made one Tantel chest since I got master. I would think you could get it into the 30's though if you had good materials.

I actually really like Tantel. I wish there was a full suit of it that had kind of a leather look and it wasn't bugged.

Its a cool armour and sells well for me.

With a mid level energy layer (9% energy resist and 8 enc) I make 36'%energy/8% base armour and enc is quite low. Also it can come in loads of colours and looks pretty nifty IMHO

I can't tell you about best stat's cuz I'm not master jet. About vulnerabilities : It's the only armor without vulnerabilities (funny a?)

Crappy resists (haven't tired but it seems that the max you could prolly get from Tantel is around 30-40% with EXCELLENT resources all around), shifting stats, and unstable results when crafting. I'd suggest not getting this armor unless you just want it for looks.

Once the stat shift bug gets fixed I expect we'll see at least a few nice Tantel helmets being used in PvP. Assume you've got great resourses and can make 35-40% base tantel. Then add in an uber 10-20% night sister layer and an uber 10-20% Janta Hide enhancer, and you've got one super light-weight helmet that has the potential to be sliced to 90%

I don't believe tantel can take layers. Just enhancments. I might be wrong though....Have to check the segment schematic.

I never got around to checking but it stands to reason since I haven't made a piece of tantel since i made master.
