Thread: Just curious, is anyone fighting for RIS fixs?

I would very much like to see this fixed, considering I am one of few who actually took the time to do the quest only to find out how broken the suit is. Definately /sign

Sersiouly,we all dreamed of it back in the day, until reality came and we realzied 99% of us will never have a good set of RIS. I remember camping spwans for days/weeks only to get 1-2 parts each which i thought thats ok, its a rare armor, but I thought it would only need 1 part each just to give to armor smith to do quest, I was so wrong lol.
For those of you who dont know, RIS tries to cover all stats and when you cross bounadaries it swtiches to protecting only 1 stat. That and its almost impossible to make
So is anyonetrying to get this armor fixed cause serisouly its a huge joke and I dont see how they expect anyone to make full sets of this for retail under 45 million

What's the difference if it's fixed or not. At the rate the critical failures keep rolling in on both experimentation and assembly, i doubt anyone will be able to make a decent set without having to get about 5 of each resource over the amount to make 1.

I don't think you understand that RIS was never made so it could be sold. Its a quest and long term objective thats adds content for hunters and AS alike.

The problem with it not being a top sales item is that it has no place in the game. This game is VERY economy driven. Stuff that doesn't fit into a supply/demand world, never gets used. end of story.

I made a thread, but I got LOLs.
I know its a cheesy idea, but if we signed a petition to refuse to make/pursue RIS and had Jaato send it to the Devs... they might listen.

See here is the thing. I think this all comes down to wanting some other craftable armor to make. RIS is just not craftable under almost any circumstances. You either have to be just plain lucky, or absolutely rich. I mean if they want RIS to be rare, then fine, but at least give us something else.

Hmm maybe this answers my question about RIS. Or rather the lack of it. I'm on Bria, and have yet to see it, or hear of anyone who has. I have sold a few feathers, and plan to go after some of the other parts, but was curious why I havn't seen any, or really heard jack about it.
So is the thing totally broken, and AS just are not bothering? Is it to hard to get compenents, or to hard to make, both?

yes and yes.....
on a scale of 1 - 10, it's a dificulty '10' to get the parts... and you get an armor worth about a '7' while composite is worth a '9', and is nowhere as hard to make.
