Greetings once again. I recently be came the proud owner of a new schematic, thanks to DiLune.

It is the 'Personal Shield Generator Imperial Test Prototype'. I'll be posting screen shots once I get them cleaned up, but here is he story according to Brer.

DiLune shows up and trade the data pad he got from doing mission on Dathomier (not sure of the planet). I proceed to make one takes 120 Iron, 80 Low grade ore, and 80 Diatium Steel, the rest of the requirements are exactly the same as an other PSG Mk3 (1 power conditioner, 1 energy distributor... etc, I won't bore you with those details). After crafting one, the base stats are as follows:

Condition: 2925
Armor Rating: Light
Special Protection: Energy 20%
Effectiveness: 17%

I experimented with it using all 10 points into various places and ended up with:

Condition: 3159
Armor Rating: Light
Special Protection: Energy 28%
Effectiveness: 31%

Looks great on paper. The down side is this item for all its glory, still has the PSG shifting effectiveness, as will be seen in the screen shots that follow.

It is a great psg; nothing existing is a better psg, no matter how you slice it. I really hope they and fix the shifting stats.

I cant for my life understand why they keep on addingbugged content. First RIS now this... Fix the bugs first for heavens sake

My Mk3's are normally around 20% energy 37% effectiveness but that condition is far far better. Any more info on where this quest starts and what is involved in completing it would be great.

Can you provide a screenshot of the schematic, and also list the stats on the resources you used in making that particular one so we can get an idea of what the limits on it is.

Thanks Brer. Look forward to seeing it on live. That it suffers from the persistant vuln shift issue is definitely a downer, though.

pretty cool, but looks like you can get it to 35-40% with better resourses (glad i still got my upper 900+ iron and steel)

Just to be clear, it requires diatium steel specifically? With any iron and ore? Same stat requirements as other shields ? (Oq, sr, ut? ) Just to be clear...

Also, you wouldn't happen to know what sort of quest?

The condition on that psg is ridiculous. 3k+? That awesome. 3 times the condition of mk3's. That's sweet.
