Any Bloodfin Armor Smith who can send here a waypoint to thier shop that has some viewable colored Padded armor, would be much appreicated. I just want to see the different types of colors that are avalible in this type of armor as I have tried many times to buy from an armorsmith for a certain color and did not like the color outcome because I dont have rights to know what the exact colors are.
thx.

I will try to be nice....
padded is kind of a pain in the butt to get resources because not alot of people really want it......so.......to make padded armor that would just be used for display is a little bit ridiculous.
On colors: I believe that the padded colors are the same that any master tailor can use to make clothes. So, if you have seen any clothes in a particular color, a master armorsmith (you dont need master to make padded) has the full choice of colors. I myself made a few really ugly pairs in hunters orange and others just to play around with.
want bright red padded doable, bright orange doable, black easy, etc etc
my 2 cents

padded is my favorite armor.. i have made tons..
White/ w blue pads (miner) dual keneitc
white/ w red pads (medic) stun/acid close up ranged people most likely to engage,, pistolers, bounty
yellow/ w red padds (commando flamer) acid/ kenitic layer (tka, snipers)
mint green/ w red pads (combat medic) energy, flame (commandos, and rifleman)
black/ w red pads amrs and mabari legs torso, tantle helm boots, composite gloves,, surveyor
yellow/ w black pads (bumblebee man) non layer just for looks and low lvl faction missions, still great armor
Black/ w black pads (night assasine) acid/heat or acid stun, you need it all.. go with your gut
drk green/ w drk brown pads (hunters armor) double kenetic obvious reasons
now ever one of these suits would have differnet layers dependsing on your custom order..
I personally make padded around 40-50% for a double layer 30%-40% in the secondarys.. this is under500 ham unsliced.. 350 for nicely sliced suits if only i could get some good correlian fiberplast

Another thing to remember is that there is two choices for colors on each piece of Padded. The trim (Pad) and the base. Choosing colors that contrast work the best. Most of my customers choose a silver or light metal color for the pads and a few choose black for the pads. These pad colors can combine with just about any color for the base.
So to make it easier on you. Find a piece of clothing from a tailor with the color you want for the base and choose a contrasting color for the pad or just choose black.
If you are trying to have two different shades of say.. blues for the armor (or any two shades of the same color), you will more than likely be dissapointed.
If you want to be certain the colors look right, ask to have the AS make a pair of gloves with the color scheme you want. It will add to the cost of the suit, but both sides will be more confident it's what you really want.
If you are the type of person that browses countless pages of tailoring vendors before purchasing the color and style you want, then you may want to stick with clothing and not armor. I very much doubt you will ever find an armor vendor with a wide array of padded armor choices to view. If you do, it will probably cost like a million credits for a suit.
