okie dokie. Hello armoursmiths. Yes im grinding and no its not a holo
since i got the game i have been mastering a profession and then using it for a month before i move on so i can get a good understanding on how this game works overall and i understand as much of its mechanics as i can
anyway onto the main question....
in your FAQ guide you stated making AUKs until you can make ubese shirts, well after spending 2 days finding out how to make an AUK (why on earth you need a weapon/generic tool) ive noticed it doesnt give any armoursmith xp and i assume its giving general crafting xp
ive got about 3k exp so far making armourweave segments and this is a long long process. as for hide its going to be a pain as no one seems to be around to lend a hand which i put down to last minute holo grinds and armourweave segments are the only thing i can curently make without the use of hide
so any tips? ive read previous threads on this and no one seems to get the answers they want and instead get flamed by trolls which no doubt will happen here

Well Until you can make Ubese Armor shirts, If you can find a Tailor and get Synth cloth Mambari Chest peices are the way to go just to frind it out. That is a fairly expensive grind but its one of the fastest.

thanks for the response. i did some more research and it turns out the AUKs do give out amroursmith xp but i had the xp refresh bug so i relogged and its solved it. leased AUKs are a bit faster than what im going and its not a bad speed as im not too fussed about grinding quick as intend to spend a month or two on the profession.
thanks again

I hate that bug.
Was crafting medic components when I realized an hour later the exp monitor wasn't moving. About came unglued. Then I just relogged.

I went from Tantel armor to Ubese in one night of grinding, using Mabari Body armor. I'm planning on grinding Ubese shirts next, but I have to gather some more resources first. Has anyone else noticed that iron is rather scarce on Naboo in the Kettemoor galaxy?

Mabari chest plates are by far the quickest xp. Get your own factory, have a tailor make a schematic with your resources, and run crates of syn cloth and mabari segments. It may take a day or two to do the factory runs, but you'll make up for it in increased speed of the grind.

I didexactly what DirthNader said. I built up a good suuply of item and then went to town on the grinding. I might be forced to continue using Mabari Body armor, until I've found a reliable source of iron.

i am grinding with mabari chest plates. you well need factories to make your seqments. syncloth for a novice tailor, you will need alot of them. also alot of fiberplast, chem, hide, and metal.
