ok, looked on the FAQ and everythin, but cant find anythin about this
wen crafting a advaned primus layer and fully expeirmented with it (using resources only from 30k res vet deeds, sso best res on server is beign used) ... i get 12/12 on energy and kinetic and -13 on the bases (this is after experimentation etc...i'm also 12pts) .... is this normal...i thought it was cap'd at 50/50 for a primus layer?
help lol

I believe you will find that in the current bug thread it doesn't show until you finish the layer...

Do you mean the segment/core/armor piece? Coz I know I crafted some layers that came out at 10 and the experimentation stage didn't budge that figure at all - nor did the stats change when the completed layer dropped into my inventory.

Really, it will be okay, folks. Enala, did the stats appear on the handcrafted layered after you had logged out for a while? I gaurantee your factory-run layers will be fine. This bug has been with us for a good long while now. They fixed the one where no one could see the results of experimentation on anything crafted, but the layer bug appears to be different.
While this should be fixed, it really doesn't affect our crafting that much since you want to max out the layers anyway. It does prevent you from easily predicting the stats of the finished armor.

i was preparing a schematic for some layers to put a factory run going...as i said, i have the best res on my server, and i'm a 12pt AS, i got a couple amzing successes and a great success, but it didnt change the stats on the single advanced primus layer i was experimenting on....i assembled it as 12/12 on enerfy and kin and -13 on base and experimentation did nothin

factory run came off....and the stats appeared....43/43 on energy and kin .... is that quite high end quality for primus layers?

50 is the cap so they aren't bad. I think your goal with primus layers is that they add at least 500 to the kinetic and energy protection of your capped cores. Yours will add 516 so I think that will make some attractive armor.
