The absolute maximum possible for energy on Assault armor is 6200. It doesn't matter what anyone else has told you, layers simply can't get it higher. That's with perfect resources.

I don't know the resource situation on Bria but you will most likely be looking for something in the 6000-6100 range.

Far as I know you cant yet make totally perfect energy layers on Bria. But it -is- possible to make perfect assault cores. So taking that into account. Likely the best you can hope for is somewhere just over 6k energy. The folks telling you that you can hit 7K+ simply dont know how armor works. I've had ALOT of people comming to me wanting BH armor made with energy resists. And then turn around and tell me my 'stats are crappy' when I tell them best I can do on it is about 6k energy resists. Untill I point out that BH armor is -assault- armor NOT -recon- armor. Some times even then they dont get it so I have to give them a whole run down on the differences between asasult, battle and recon armor before they understand.

So that's where those 7k+ quotes are comming at you from. People thinking it's recon armor or something like that when it's not. It's BH armor thus has BH certs. That being Assault. Oddly i'm currious if BH armor is strictly BH only now. As it seems (going by a recent screenshot anyway) that now mando armor is wearable by anyone certed for assault armor.
