if i had armor made with the Color 2 as the darkest color on that bottom visible row, will that look Maroon or Brown?

Honestly, it depends on your monitor. For me it is a blood red color (dark maroon), but it may look brown on yours. If it isn't what you want...just tweak the monitor!

i'm looking for the Maroon color like the Death Watch Bunker's Black Sun guys.

Ah...cool idea!
I'd say that is pretty close, (as close as you are going to get anyways), but can't guarantee that it is exactly the same.

great. thanks for the info. my guild's armorsmith is gonna make my suit soon. going for Maroon for the main color, with Black Trim. should look pretty sweet.
