Thread: Wookie armor and which is the best?

Ello all, ive re-activated after being gone since pub9. I wanna try out the MBH/MCM profession, but i want top make armor for my Wookiee first. Will anyone tell me, with me being a MBH and able to wear assault armor, WHICH Wookiee armor is the equivalint(spelling?) to assault armor? What is the best armor for Wookiees out there? Or is it just me making the normal sets for BH type armor, and then just making a "wookie skin" for that armor? Please any help would be greatly appreciated all. Need to know before my free respecs are gone.

the definition of "best" no longer exists. Any armor can be the best, its all about what u want it to look like now, and what you are certified for. however, u don't get much choice cause ur wookie. Assault = Hunting armor, Battle = Black Mountain, Recon = Ceremonial, the question is what is BEST FOR YOUR NEEDS. Each armor has advantages and disadvantages. MBH=assault and MCM = battle armor. Assault armor caps, are 7k kinetic, 5000 energy and 6000 base, (no layers)... battle is 6k to all, and recon is 7k energy, 5k kinetic, and 6k base. So if u plan on hunting jedi, who use Lightsabers (energy damage).. then recon and if u can't use recon, use battle, (as certed by MCM) but do not hunt a jedi in assault. i laugh whenever a BH shows up in assault armor to attack my jedi, they fall like a penny off the CN tower (sorry, i'm canadian)..... if u have the money for it, get energy layers put into your recon and get it up to i think... 7k energy, 5k kinetic and 6k base. however layers are expensive and u might not want the price increase just for the 2% more protection. (difference between 6k and 7k if i remember right)

so we cant make the layers? we have to buy them? Or are these the scales that drop off of kryats ect? Ive seen some wookie armor for sell that had 8k....forgot which type that was protection for.
Ok, what resources do i need to make the armor, and what are the qualities i need worry about?

blah blah said it all before. Wookies shouldn't get armor like it was orginally intended. Go back to work slave!

we make layers, but htey are expensive in resources, and yes, energy layers will add +1000 energy and -1000 kinetic from my previous post (with capped stats on it all)
but expect to be shaved as payment, they will take all your fur to afford it..... and make pillow covers out of it

Anyway, thanks for the info, i will try and see what i can do. Any particular resources/resource qualities i need to watch out for?
