Thread: Aaarghhh... i just lost 21k worth of 994 quality steel.

a word of warning.
I had 29k worth of Steel (quality 994)
As a new armorsmith still working my way up, i thought "put aside 20k of it for when i need some top notch steel"
I thought i'd keep 9k in my pack for on the spot usage.
It was stored in a pack IN MY HOUSE not in my inventory.
I opened the window. used the split option and..............................GONE
I now had 9k of steel.
did a double check split / 1000.......gone.
I now have 8k of 994 steel.
I've discovered a new way to destroy goods. I've submitted a bug but i'm still down 21k of steel.
Whoa is me !

LOL i did that with 100k of really good steel before until i found it later.

back in the old days i lost an entire house full of armor resources and stuff after i moved it all... took a server reset before it reappeared, talk about sweating for a day!

Um, I lost a vendor with about 10M units of resources in a rollback once.
I set upa storagevendor, dumped everything in at 99999999, and once I was finished the server crashed.
When it came back up, we were rolled back about 30 minutes and the vendor "needed to be initialized"...
Never got reimbursed for it either.
