Thread: Armor sold by the suti.... how do you list them...
i just go of what the price looks like on a vendor search and work from there so that i make enough to cover my costs
and i charge an extra 10% - 15% charge on seperate pieces mainly because people only but the helmets chest and leggings
Pricing is really a personal choice.
You may want to sell cheaper if you want more sales, but you'll end up being too busy trying to keep your vendors stocked.
And regarding Faction Armor, I personally sell by piece. Many customerslike it because they don't have to invest in pieces they don't want or can't afford. I've gotten plenty of positive feedback so many times for this, and these customers come back eventually for other pieces anyway. The funny thing I've noticedis that on some days, the Biceps, Bracers, Gloves and Boots actually outsell the Helmets, Chests and Legs. I built a Rebel base right behind my factories so I can get whatever schematic whenever I want so life isn't that hard.
I price by core and by unlayered/layered for bulk armor.
My current prices are 25K per core for unlayered capped, 50K per core for layered and 60K andabove for very high stat layers.
So a suit of unlayered capped armor sells for 275K, a suit of good layered armor sells for 550K and a suit of very high stat layered armor starts at 660K.
I don't sell faction (Zabrak Imperial
)
I sell bulk armor in individual pieces with more leggings, chests and helms than arm pieces.
Custom work using these base prices and then I add on various charges for my crafting time, RIS and BH armor and use of food,drink to ensure no failures etc, if the customer wants health enhancements etc.
