Thread: Critically important info for ALL new AS!

i have some very important for all you new armoursmiths...
once you have set up and start getting 'important' custom orders in for things like high energy armours and BH armour and RIS etc.... nvr ever ever ever ever start crafting this stuff in preparation while either drinking or while drunk when back from pub/bar
....you end up in all sorts of mess i assure you, as i have found out many times before, you need a clear mind on what you need to do and your maths need to be completely correct (especially if your doing damn health enhancement orders aswell).... so beware have a clear mind or you'll mess up badly in your calculations and you'll end up losing time and money when doing these orders....(as i have experiencced first hand about 5 times now) ...and i still havent learnt lol

I'm not going to stand here and listen to you bad mouth alcohol. So I'll sit down.
According to all the beer commercials I've seen, alcohol makes me dead sexy, and since so many athletes pitch it, it must really be good for you. Sure you have to drink responsibly (keep a firm grip on your pint and pay your tab), but that's not difficult. So I don't think you can blame alcohol. Just admit you have a crafting problem, that's the first step. Then get a beer.

I was trying to drop some harvesters in a striaght line yesterday after a couple of beverages...lets just say its lucky they can be redeeded or my striaght line would have been very circular.

Try crafting a Jetpack or Mando in the DWB after a few drinks...
It can get very complicated (that's if you can make it to the crafting room without falling asleep).

i remember tailgating before a concert one time.. i wanted to back my car in before we went inside (easy exit)... the darn thing wouldnt start.. i figured i had let the battery drain because of the music... drunk and very nervous that i was 2 hours away from home with no car BEFORE the show even started, i had a friend look at it with me (we basically stared at the dash).. both of us were stumped.. what felt like 20 minutes later (was probably 30 seconds) another person reached in the car and put it back in park.
how did i know I had put the car in drive before starting it... ugh! Later that night, I crafted a set of RIS armor (with the practice box checked). oh and this was back when GDK scales were actually hard to loot.
