I did a quick scan and couldnt find anything about this.. but..
I was making some yesterday, Every peice came out about 46k condition except the bracerswhich were 100k?? Now i got to thinking does this mean that the bracers are messed up? Or the rest? To me this is the same condition as RIS which makes since as its looted armor and pretty hard to get (i think)To me it makes since the condiontion should be higher than say normal composite. Anyway just thought i would ask if anyone knows.

The bug has been around for a while now, and there has been no official word on which way is 'intended.'

It's been around since BH schematics went live.
I "think" I saw it fixed this one day I was crafting a quick pair in front of a starport for someone, but I wasn't paying too much attention to it at the time. It got bugged againthe following day though.

And whatever you do, don't repair them.
99.7% repair tool
Master Artisan
Standing next to a +43.8 station
Tried to repair 2 and both fell apart.

The number on the tool has nothing to do with your chance of repairing the item. It tells you how much of the original condition can be achieved on the best repair result. So, if you are using a 100% tool, and get a perfect repair, your item will be repaired back to the original condition. If you get the same result with a 60% tool, your item will be repaired to 60% of max condition, and the max condition will be adjusted to this value. The only thing that helps you with repair is picking up the FS repair line. Nothing else affects repair chances.

I'm gonna have to disagree here.
I tried experimenting with some 99.8 tools and some 2.3 tools.
The 2.3 tools have never succeeded a single time after trying like 50 pieces of used armor we had laying around.
The 99.8's succeed much much more often.

Hrm, there may be some effect thten, but if yo9u do th emath on any perfect repairs you get, you will find max condition shifts to the tool's exact rating. IE, when I use 99.7 tools and get flawless repairs, the condition always shifts to 99.7% of the previous max.
