I haven't felt this much pain in a long time.
Two years is a long time to get to know people. Even those annoying customers wanting free armor have a place in my heart
Unfortunately school is trying to deliberately kill me, taking about 10-14 hours of every single day (except weekends... mostly). This doesn't leave alot of time to devote to a profession where you can only craft anything with a degree of "company image" if you hand craft it.
So it pains me to announce my departure from Armorsmithing. I wish all the great people here, that you all are, all the best and I hope we'll get our loving soon for all our sakes
As for the website.
I will still help out if needed. I don't expect to forget everything I've been doing for the last two years overnight
. I just might not be keeping as firm an eye on the various threads here as I used to.
I hope to return to the fold one day, but I will be far too busy for a while

That's gotta be hard. There have been a number of frustrations with this game that made me want to give up armorsmith, but I always keep coming back. I'm just glad school is behind me now ... given how good a student I was, I probably would have flunked out if SWG was live back then.
Good luck to you
Good luck to you

I'm just burning up what resources I can, myself, Hurgis. If not for that, I'd have dropped the skills already (that and I can't seem to decide on a new profession
). I won't bother listing reasons as we've all read them before... this resource buff being small but the last straw. I hate to give it up as well but in reality, the changes have relived me of the choice by removing what the profession was about in the first place. (I switched from Tailor to get more of a challange.)

Hmm, a lot of armorsmiths must feel the same way. I know of an AS who quit when the 30K deeds came out... and well, even though I'm only a five-month old AS, I think I've a good feeling why AS's are dropping out.
Best of luck to you. ^_^

And another smith leaves. ITs sad when this profession takes more time to do than real life. You will be missed mate, but I hope you will continue to post here to let us know how your doing.

We'll miss you Hurgis! You were always my favorite AS on Starsider. I'd still be shopping there, but I became an AS myself. I know your armor shop will be missed by many on the server and I know my guild will be sad to hear you are leaving AS. Good luck with school. Study hard.
