Hey guys.. I'm currently grinding my way to AS and after a few trials of armor creation so far I started thinking about life after I master. I was just curious about making suits of armor...
How exactly do you guys produce suits of armor in numbers?
Do you produce large amounts of each piece through factories and then put them into suits? If so.. How do you get identical stats on each piece in a suit?
Thanks.

I think you just answered it. In the beginning hand crafting armor is fine (and I still do it for custom jobs sometimes) but you really want to get into factory mode. The more factories you have the better. Your limitation, I think, should eventually become the amount of time you feel like spending crafting, not your resources or the number of factories you have. Here is a typical run of my EEK (energy electric kinetic) composite:
1000 Kinetic layer #1 (experiment for maximum base, rest in ham)
1000 Kinetic layer #2 (experiment for maximum base, rest in ham)
1000 Energy layer (put minimum amount in energy needed to get 80% energy, rest in base, this i always require amazing success for)
These 3000 layers become:
999 EEK Advanced Composite Armor Segments. (1 of each layer lost for the manufacturing schematic of course)
On the side I've also run:
1000 Synth Cloth and 1000 Reinforced Fiberplast Panels (I like to run them in my factories so i don' have to store them somewhere, I just leave them in the output hopper until i need them)
Then I do factory runs of whatever composite armor piece I happen to be low on, since i generally just stock single pieces rather than bagged suits. Since each 9 piece composite suit takes 21 segments, you can run... 47 full suits, or 99 4 piece suits (which each take 10 segments).
Here's the catch:
NEVER DO WHAT I DO AS A STARTING ARMORSMITH!
The reason is your resources and subcomponents will always be improving as you get new and better resources. I was careful and i still had lots of leftover layers and segments from big runs i did at one point or another which had worse stats for whatever reason. When you are ready to do a factory run, try making enough components for 10, 20 suits tops. You will find that each time you do a new run your armor will be better and you will not want to be stuck with old pieces/components. This is true if you always put your income into getting new and better resources (and also experimentation tapes), as you should do if you want to expand your business as fast as possible.
Good luck!

Quite so. When I made MAS. I was hitting 55 or so base comp. Which needless to say. Never saw the light of day
A few better end resources quickly bumped me up to 60. Then 65..
A few good spawns of resources have since pushed me up to 67 and now after getting hold of some older resources from a retired AS. 68-69 base on composite.
And I've only been at this a few weeks now. Month at most end of this week.

If you use same resources and same experimentation , stats will be the same for every peace. One think that may confuse new AS- stats on chest plate can be a bit lower than other peaces . You have to use better resourses for chestplate then to get same quality.
