Yeah, that's not bad for your first go round. Depends a bit on what server your on and what kind of resources have been available. I've seen 71% base on Gorath a few times recently.

Interesting note: I have a dear dear friend who after spending a lot of time trying to make good comp with little success eventually found that her crafting tool and station were not good. So, make sure your tools is as close to 15.00 as possible and your station as close to 45.00 as possible.

Those results are great for 10 point smith, starting out. With better resources (which may take a long time to acquire) you can get kinetic composite to as high as 72% base even as a 10 point armorsmith. Because the extra points, for kinetic composite, really mainly affect the ham. 10 point stun composite tends to be kind of disappointing though (although you can make it good with janta hides).

As much as you can, try to use components with amazing successes.. they will give you a better ham in the end also. Working in a research city, using bespin port(and having the force experimentation tree in particular) can help alot for getting amazing successes.

Furia, Kavala, Xana, Tarantella (Xana's alt, before NGE), all cancelled.(3 accts total)

Your tool and crafting station make no difference. The higher they are % wise, the less chance of a failed assembly.
